  • You can’t lose what you never had, but you can lose it all if you never try

If no one was listening, would you sing?

If no one was watching, would you dance?

If you did not overthink it, would you let your hands paint?

Would you bet on yourself? Would you let your voice speak? Would you give your vision words?

The truth is, no one has set any restrictions on you. Not society, not status, not finances, not education, none of it. You were born with all ambition and absolutely no restrictions. As we evolved, we set up our own walls. We allowed for the nonsense to obstruct. The sooner you let this go, the more you will sing, dance, paint, create, execute. Let the vision reign I say. LET IT REIGN.

I did not have a plan for this blog. I knew I wanted to see my words poured out on pages. Many years, many thoughts, many ideas and many walls later. Just like everyone else who plants a seed, I wanted to wait for the right time. I wanted to wait until I did all the research and how to’s. I wanted to wait for the most perfect time to execute. As if waiting held some magical powers for the best outcome.

The present time, is the best time.

If you are reading this, it means I finally hit “publish”. For reference, today is August 8, 2025. If you are reading this, it means:

    • I did not wait for the Blog to be perfect
    • I did not wait to make sure my very first blog was immaculately drafted in honor of it being, well, the “first blog”
    • I did not wait for perfectly aesthetic photos

I just did it. I walked into the room of discomforts. When we are uncomfortable is when we move forward. Complacency siphons your go getter spirit.

After all, you cannot lose what you never had. But you can lose it all if you never try.
